Lindsay Smith-Yancey

Lindsay Smith-Yancey has more than 20 years of legal experience with a focus on health care law, risk management, and insurance defense litigation. Lindsay has represented many healthcare institutions, including hospitals, physicians, medical practices, and residential care facilities, in professional liability actions. She also defends trucking companies and commercial businesses in personal injury, alcohol liability and premises liability claims. Her experience includes trial and appellate work, as well as developing risk management policies and strategies for her clients.
Lindsay has served as an Adjunct Professor of Healthcare Law at the Medical University of South Carolina and is active in the Charleston community. Her practice is located in the firm’s Charleston office.
