Gilbert Jean-Louis

As part of the Firm’s Litigation team, Gilbert focuses on the areas of construction defects, trucking accidents, environmental damage, and insurance coverage.

Gilbert graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 with a double major in History and Political Science. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 2025, where he served as an Articles Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Journal.  He also served as Treasurer for the Black Law Students Association for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.

Before law school, Gilbert worked as a paralegal for a business immigration law firm in Charlotte, where he gained invaluable experience working in a law office. Outside of the office, Gilbert enjoys being disappointed by his favorite professional sports teams, attending local trivia events, and working out.
