David M. Bornemann

ColumbiaSpecial Counsel

David Bornemann serves on the firm’s litigation team, where he represents businesses and individuals in complex litigation. His practice focuses on construction-defect litigation, trucking and transportation matters, personal injury defense, and general business litigation.

As a graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College, David earned dual degrees in Finance and Marketing and received the Steven N. Swanger Leadership Award. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as Vice President and later President of the Student Bar Association.

Outside of Rogers Townsend, David is deeply involved in his community. He serves on the Board of The Living Wright Foundation and the Advisory Council for the Historic Columbia Foundation, as well as being an active member of the Columbia Museum of Art and Columbia Opportunity Resource. He is also a past president and current Board Member of the Columbia Main Street Rotary Club, where he continues his commitment to civic leadership and service.
