Meredith Keough

Meredith is part of the Firm’s Health Care team, where she focuses on representing physicians, hospitals, and various health care providers in matters of professional liability and regulatory compliance. Additionally, she provides general insurance defense service for a range of clients.

Meredith is a graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she served as a Senior Articles Editor for the German Law Journal and participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition Team. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude, from Rice University, with a publication in the Rice Historical Review. Her professional experience includes an internship with the Hon. Molly H. Cherry at the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Additionally, in the fall of 2023 she taught Principled Leadership in American Government at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.

Fluent in French and advanced in Japanese, Meredith also plays electric and acoustic violin and is involved in the Charleston music scene.
